Balloon Cupcake Cake!

Happy Monday bloggers! This weekend was a blast! I had the honor of baking my first cupcake cake for my friend’s daughter’s 2nd birthday! I absolutely loved it! It was a balloon theme; super cute and simple.

To make my cupcake cake: I used a thick poster board to hold everything together. I then painted the background with blue icing as the sky and added ribbon & a bow for a more personalized touch. I rearranged the cupcakes to look like a cluster of balloons in the sky! I normally like to decorate my icing into pretty shapes, but I could not find a box big enough to cover my poster board, so I chose a more traditional icing with some sprinkles to not ruin the icing. I’ll have to do some research on that, but not bad for my first time; practice makes perfect! 🙂

Overall, the party was so adorable! Happy birthday Tezza!!!! Xoxoxo
