DIY Chocolate Covered Pretzel Favors!

So you’re throwing a party whether it be a baby shower, kid’s party, bridal shower or a get together at your place and you need a quick no fuss favor idea? Chocolate covered pretzels to your rescue!

Last week at my job we threw a work baby shower for our good friend Jodell. Since we had a lot of people we needed an inexpensive favor idea that would also be useful- we all know those nicknacks get thrown out!!!

Here is what you need to make this adorable & delicious idea!
2 bags of Pretzels (any brand- tip- the thicker the better)
1 bag of blue & 1 bag of brown melt-able chocolate (can find this at Acmoore/Michaels)
1 bag of plastic baggies (can also be found in Acmoore/Michaels)

Now it’s super easy: Take 2 separate pots and boil hot water. Place 2 glass bowls on top of each pot & place the blue chocolate in one bowl & the brown chocolate in the other. Once the the chocolate starts to melt you may want to lower the heat to ensure that the chocolate doesn’t burn.

Once the chocolate is melted keep on low heat so the chocolate does not harden & start to dip the pretzel ends in the chocolate. *We cut our pretzels in half and decorated them with some cute sprinkles! Whatever decoration you choose (ie: sprinkles, m&ms, caramel, peanuts, ect…decorate them while the chocolate is still wet)

Then place the finished pretzels in the fridge for about an hour or until they have hardened before you put them in the baggies!

Here is your result:

Now place the pretzel(s) in the baggies and tie with a cute ribbon. We also stuck labels on the outside of the bags.

Have any of you ever made these before?
